Y’all, I kind of love St. Patrick’s Day. And by kind of, I mean I seriously love it. I’m feeling lucky this March and wearing my green!
Part of my excitement for 2018 comes from the changes I’m making at Ink Monster. Balance is my word for the year, and I’m going to be getting back to what I love, more writing! It’s sooo good. Changes Are Happening!
About a year ago, Danielle and I decided to join forces to bring you new authors and stories. It’s been an amazingly fun year (Seriously! We’ve had a BLAST!), but as I hit the end of 2017–having worked through every holiday and weekend–my stress levels were at an all-time high. I read this article, and thought, am I climbing the right mountain? What are my true goals?
After a little bit of soul-searching and a long chat with our amazing distributor, I realized I’ve been focusing on the wrong things. Being an author and writing more is what I’m meant to be doing. This year I just haven’t had enough time to do that. So, I’m stepping back from opening Ink Monster to additional authors and returning to doing what I love: writing and getting my books out to you.
Which means that Danielle is reopening the doors at Fire Fly Hill Press! Beth Merlin and Tricia Leedom will also be reverting to Firefly Hill Press. Be sure to check out the newsletter for information about their upcoming releases.
But don’t worry, I’ll be posting about them, too, because I heart Danielle and everything she’s doing big time! ❣
