A coupla weeks back Aileen tagged me in a 10 favorite novels challenge. I thought about rising to the challenge, but picking my favorites turned into a serious pain in the brainpan. So my natural thought progression was….wellllll, why not cheat?
Instead of my 10 fav books, I’m offering up my 5 favorite series. Nailing down the list was still semi heartbreaking (because Tamora Pierce totally deserves a spot) but I stand behind my choices.
In no particular order:
The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series by J.R. Ward
Ward’s voices just sing to me. That would be enough on its own, but the alpha vamp hotties are the cherry on my froyo.
The Dragonriders of Pern Series by Anne McCaffrey
I’ve spent most of my life wanting to be a dragonrider. Still waiting for an invite to my hatching ceremony (any day now). Honorable mentions to Crystal Singer and The Tower and Hive. I adore Anne McCaffrey.
The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
Ravenclaw forever.
The Dallas Stars Series by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
More fantastic voice. I love almost everything SEP does, and even though IRL football players aren’t my jam, I’m totalllllly sold. Where do I get mine?
Women of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong
Elena + Clay are my fav UF couple of all time.
