Holy moly! I’ve been running around like a crazy person this week. I’m so looking forward to the weekend, it’s not even funny. O.o
So, without further ado, here are five things on my mind today.
1. Yesterday I talked with my bestie and found out that she’s coming to visit in a month.
This has been me since we got off of FaceTime. I mean seriously, it’s so awesome. I only get to see her and her hubby once a year, if that. They moved to Chicago nearly six years ago, and I swear I miss her all the time. So, I’m dancing around, stupid excited. Now, I’ve started a countdown. It’s kind of a thing. #notembarrassedatall
2. We’re going to Disneyland this weekend!
J’s cousin and his wife and cutie pie little girl are coming to visit. They live in San Diego, so we’re meeting at Disneyland. It’s going to be the little one’s first visit! I love it. Seeing Disney through kiddos eyes is so fun. Plus, we’ll be at Disney. #disneyaddict So, this weekend is shaping up to be pretty sweet.
3. The amazing Lola Dodge showed me a new calendar tool called Asana and I’m obsessed.

Us Ink Monsters are getting hella organized. And if there’s one thing I dig, it’s organization. It’s kind of a thing. I mean, The Container Store is my jam. I could spend all day in there. And since I spent the past few weekends cleaning out all the closets in the house and organizing like a fiend, this is suiting my mood just fine. Now, if only my new planner from Seoul would show up, then I’d really be in business… Alas, mail takes a long time. Until then, Asana is my new BFF. 😉
4. I’m considering seeing Dirty Grandpa this weekend…
It’s 6% Fresh on the Tomatometer. Which means it’s either going to be awesomely bad or just bad-bad. I can’t tell which. Thoughts? Anyone checking it out this weekend? Let me know!
5. It’s official. I’m addicted to Fixer Upper. I mean, how cute are they?!
Correct answer: SO CUTE!!!!
They slay me. J and I can’t stop watching. Plus, is there anything they can’t do?! In the episode we watched last night, I swear that house should’ve been torn the hell down. But then they come in and bippity-boppity-boo! Super cute awesome house! Amazing. It almost makes me want to move to Waco. Almost. Well, maybe one day we’ll move back to Texas and have Chip and JoJo come fix up a house for us.
A girl can dream. 😉
